  • 01 What should be done for healthy teeth?

    1. Teeth should definitely be brushed twice a day, including once before going to bed.
    2. For proper cleaning, interdental brushes or dental floss should be used.
    3. Dental check-ups should be done every 6 months.
    4. The tongue should always be brushed while brushing teeth.
    5. The toothbrush chosen for more effective brushing should be soft.
    6. Brushing time should not be less than 2 minutes.
    7. Dental tartar should be regularly cleaned.
    8. To increase the effectiveness of brushing, mouthwash should be used, toothbrushes should be replaced every 2-3 months, and whitening products should be used under doctor supervision.

  • 02 What is Masseter Botox / Jaw Botox?

    1. Teeth grinding, temporomandibular joint pain, and rounding of the jaw angle can be effectively treated.
    2. However, the rounding effect is not immediately visible.
    3. To maintain the effect, treatments every 4-6 months are recommended. Teeth clenching problems can be resolved in 2 minutes with masseter botox.
    4. The masseter muscle is located on both sides of the face, in the front part of the jaw, and is one of the chewing muscles.
    5. Bruxism is the condition of teeth grinding or clenching due to involuntary contraction of the masseter muscle during sleep.
    6. Nowadays, a more defined jawline can be achieved with a simple and relatively painless procedure known as masseter botox.
    7. Injection of botox into the masseter muscle will weaken your jawline and help your face take on a V shape.
    8. This injection not only weakens the jawline but also helps individuals with teeth clenching problems.
    9. There is no risk of pain, discomfort, or bruising with masseter botox.

  • 03 Who is a candidate for dental implant treatment?

Implants can be applied to almost anyone whose jawbone development is complete and whose general health is suitable. Solutions exist for everything from a single missing tooth to full edentulism. Bone volume and general health are evaluated with a panoramic X-ray at the first examination, and a personalized treatment plan is prepared.

  • 04 Does teeth whitening damage teeth? Is it permanent?

Teeth whitening performed under a dentist's supervision is safe and does not cause permanent damage to the enamel; slight sensitivity for a few days afterwards is normal. Results last 1-3 years on average, depending on eating habits. Tea, coffee and smoking can shorten the duration of whiteness.

  • 05 Is root canal treatment painful?

Thanks to modern anesthesia, no pain is felt during root canal treatment; for most patients it is as comfortable as getting a filling. Mild sensitivity may occur for a few days afterwards and resolves on its own. The real source of pain is not the treatment but delaying it.

  • 06 How often should I visit the dentist?

We recommend a dental check-up every 6 months, even if you have no complaints. Regular check-ups catch cavities and gum problems at an early stage, which makes treatment easier and significantly reduces costs. Tartar cleaning during the check-up also protects your gum health.

  • 07 When should my child first see a dentist?

The first dental visit should take place after the first baby tooth erupts, and no later than around age 1. An early introduction allows potential problems to be detected in advance and helps the child grow up without fear of the dentist. Baby teeth should never be neglected; they are critical for the health of permanent teeth.

  • 08 Can adults get orthodontic (braces) treatment?

Yes — there is no age limit for orthodontic treatment; it can be applied to any adult with suitable dental and gum health. In addition to classic metal brackets, clear aligners that go unnoticed in daily life are also available. At the examination, we determine the most suitable method together.
